Re: 2023 NCAA Tournament

I just have to say. Watching your Alma Mater go 3 for 198 on the power play hurts the soul a little bit. Fun game to watch. Love that NCAAs are easy to watch. Proud to see Fordham in their third straight NCAAs.

Re: 2023 Season

If I had to guess this will be the final rankings: 1. UCLA 2. Cal 3. USC 4. Princeton 5. UCI 6. San Jose State 7. Fordham 8. Biola Slight chance San Jose and Fordham swap spots. Also UCI and Princeton could swap spots. Thoughts? Edit: SJ beat Fordham so not likely Fordham would be ahead of SJ I hav...

Re: 2023 Season

WWPA gets an automatic qualifier. So whoever wins that tournament is likely the 8 seed.

Re: 2023 Season

Just finished watching that Irvine-Davis game. What a comeback by UCI. Some nice water polo tomorrow. I think Harvard-Princeton is going to be a thriller at Blodgett. Their game a couple weeks ago was fantastic. Pepperdine losing really makes the seeding a big guessing game now for NCAAs. I would as...

Re: 2023 Season

Speaking of good games to stream. UCSD over Davis 11-10 was fun. Just watched it last night. Definitely worth watching the replay if you have time.

Re: 2023 Season

Can someone explain to me how UCI hops to #6?... And yes I know they beat UC Davis - who has been anything but consistent. And you suggested Davis as #6, knowing, I assume, that they lost to UC Irvine: Because of the 2 losses to Pepperdine already the highest princeton would’ve been is 6 and now I ...

Re: 2023 Season

I didn’t get to watch the game, unfortunately. Trevor, mind breaking it down? While I’m sure Princeton is gassed from their schedule, it’s clear they overlooked the NWPC (specifically Harvard). That in addition to the tigers never playing particularly well at Harvard led to this loss. Huge shoutout...

Re: 2023 Season

Speaking of games worth watching the stream of. Harvard just beat Princeton in a 14-13 OT thriller. Incredible. Would have been unlucky if Harvard had lost as they led the entire game until Princeton tied it late. Harvard’s goalie was outstanding in the cage.

Re: 2023 Season

I have to agree. I was just looking to watch the Cal-UCLA game when I got home and saw it wasn’t streaming. Just do what Fordham did today for the GW game and have a nice camera follow the game back and forth. We don’t need commentary. All games can be streamed. Trevor plugging something positive a...

Re: 2023 Season

Anyways, Cal and UCLA later today. I actually think Cal has a (good) chance if Papa plays. I’d favor them. This could be talking out of my behind, but imo this is the time in the year where the “better” team will usually lose due to them playing more standard as we draw closer to MPSF / NCAAs. Is t...

Re: 2023 Season

Fordham is also out West this week also playing a rough slate in Cal, Pacific, Santa Clara, San Jose State, Pepperdine and Cal Baptist. The Rams got their starting goalie back just last weekend and he was key to their success last season.

Re: ESPN+

I agree wholeheartedly! Makes it easy to watch a ton of water polo. Hard for me to give Princeton these kudos since they have eliminated my Fordham Rams from the last two NCAAs, but they really did an excellent job last weekend.

Re: 2023 Season

Let’s try this again… CBU and Navy are early surprises… New programs CSUF and UC Merced showing some promising signs… UC Davis is the new UOP (disruptor program)… LBSU is streaky… UCSB and Pepperdine just plain suck… Stanford and Fordham looking for their groove… Fordham is missing their starting g...

Re: St. Francis Brooklyn Eliminates Athletics Program

Fordham added their lefty. Big get when you combine him, the other big recruit and what they have coming back.

Re: St. Francis Brooklyn Eliminates Athletics Program

My understanding of SFC was their niche was first generation immigrants - like the whole (or vast majority) of the school was immigrants - so the "too many foreigners" argument doesn't really apply as the team's composition matches the school's makeup. Sad to see but understandable, athle...
