Key Games - 2-4 November Weekend

I have one upset this weekend. UC Davis will beat Stanford at Stanford. CAL and UCLA win their games easily to retain #1 and #2 rankings. Friday, 2 Nov. UCI @ CAL - CAL wins 12-7. CAL has too much depth and speed for the Anteaters. Saturday, 3 Nov UCLA at UCSD - UCLA wins easily 16-6 Beach at Pepper...

This wasn't my best week, going 5-5. But it was a great week for CAL, UCLA and UCSB. And a bad week for USC, Stanford and maybe a devastating week for Beach. CAL - moves to #1 after going 3-0 over the weekend. The Bears are the best team in the country. UCLA - crushes their rival (that alone makes i...

to the post above, not to take anything away from davis because I think they are a tough team, where do you think long beach should be ranked after beating #2 stanford? I'd have a tough time putting Beach ahead of Stanford. There are many other factors that go into the rankings. Don't get me wrong,...

Key Games - 26-28 October weekend

Just one upset this weekend, as Pepp will beat Stanford at Stanford. In the weekends best matchup, UCLA will take it to USC early, but USC comes back and wins in OT. WWPA is starting to shape up as a two team horse race between UC Davis and LMU. With UCSD and Santa Clara as strong programs that will...

I agree that UC Davis shouldn't have moved down ... and they definitely should be ranked ahead of LMU.

I think the biggest travesty is ranking Stanford ahead of CAL. Stanford has 4 losses against just 8 wins. While CAL is 17-2. CAL is a much better team, and deserves a higher ranking.
