Norcal, what did you think of the five meter penalty call at the end of the USC-Cal game? I spoke with a couple people that felt it was a real borderline call, especially with only five seconds left. From my angle, I thought it was the right call. USC player (Corcoran) beat his CAL defender (Tyrrel...

NorCal, Why the inconsistancies with your MPSF Tourney at Cal and your final MPSF predictions? There are two separate predictions...MPSF regular season finish, and MPSF tourney results. I think CAL has a lot of players stepping into new roles and it will take them time to gel. But UCLA has a strong...

USC and CAL are awarded the #1 and #2 seeds at the NCAA Tournament. LMU receives the #3 seed as they pull out a close win over UC San Diego in WWPA Tournament. Navy returns to NCAA's as the # 4 seed. I don't see anyone back east beating them this season. 1st Round USC over Navy CAL over LMU Finals U...

I am basing some of this on observing the Men's National Championship, and some on the rosters as I understand them. USC had the best finish at the tournament, and they were missing the 6 Junior team players, Krumpholtz, Ligtenberg, Rappel, Sardo, Sagehorn and Artukovich as well as Clark. This team ...

Some of the colleges sent club teams to the Men's National Championship at Miramonte HS last weekend. Their order of finish: 3. USC 4. CAL 5. UCLA 6. Pepperdine 7. UCSB 8. UCSD 9. UOP 10. Davis 11. Cal Baptist 13. Navy However, many of the teams were missing key players. So did the order of finish m...

Norcal, thanks for the great preview. Very unbiased and informative. Looking forward to your predictions. Of course my bias for Stanford will be very apparent. Thanks. I appreciate a biased point of view, and I think Stanford has consistently (year in, year out) been either the 2nd or 3rd best men'...
